TECHNICAL REPORT 1

On first week begin as a trainee in TEF department of ROBERT BOSCH (M) SDN BHD, my supervisor which is Encik Baharin help me to login to computer in TEF8. This is the first time I exposed to Microsoft Outlook. Microsoft is the best way to use because it more faster and can save our time. Microsoft Office can send email to everyone if we know their email.

Secondly, I have to install all the components / resistors in the board circuit by using soldering iron and wire. I have to know the positions of resistors in board circuit. This is quite tough task for me because I never do this task before this. This is the example of item used for soldering this board circuit :

· Soldering tweezers

· Soldering gun

· Soldering iron

This is the example of installing resistor into board circuit. The things used is soldering iron and wire.To do this things you must focus and do patiently. You must know the positions of resistor to put in board circuit.

Besides that, I also have to do 5S. Do you know what is 5S? The graph below will explain what is 5S. 5S is a Japanese word which is SEIRI, SEITON, SEISO, SEIKETSU, SHITSUKE. In English, 5S means SORT, SET IN ORDER, SHINE, STANDARDIZE, SUSTAIN.

This is an example of 5S that I do. I have to rearrange the tools and the tools must looks neat. In my company, 5S is an important things because manager will always check the department. They want office and store look neat and tidy.

· After finishing the 5S, I have the task which is make a drawing for Office Festive Decoration Competition for my TEF8 office. This task involved all of the staff in whole department at Robert Bosch. This task which is need creativity and must give idea for the decoration. But in this task we don’t spent any money at all to buy things because we only use recycle item and what we have in the office. We use a box, colour paper, water colour, packets,polistrine.

The next task is I have to do a power point which is MAZE. In this task I have to know what is MAZE, what is objectives of MAZE, why we need MAZE. After finish my power point I have to do presentation in front of my engineer because they want to look my skills in present. A lot of important things I need to topup in my slide because this task is quite tough because I have to ask engineer or technician on MAZE and I need to find all the information by myself. In internet doesn’t have any information about MAZE.

This is one of my example of slide presentation about MAZE. I have to do and use Bosch background in my slide because this is one of department task that I need to know.

Last of my technical report being as a trainee in TEF8, I need to transfer all thing in component store to Microsoft Excel. This task is to make easy to all of engineer and technician to find the item that they need. This task also can trigger item easily. Engineer and technician can look the item in their laptop and they can know how many current stock that they have in the component store and this is the best way to save time because they don’t need to go to component store and check the current stock they have. If the stock in a lower stock, they must order the items immediately.

This is one of my examples of item that save in Microsoft Excel.

Microsoft Office Excel

After finish transfer item in Microsoft Excel, I need to transfer all the item in Microsoft Excel to Microsoft Access. This task is challenging because I never use Microsoft Access before this. I learnt on how to use Microsoft Access in internet and I learnt step by step on how to use this Microsoft Access.

This is one of my examples of item that save in Microsoft Access.

This is one example that I make a hyperlink. If you look at this page you didn’t know all the details about the item. My supervisor want me to do one things that if the click the page then it will come out with all the information of item so I decided to do a hyperlink. This is one example of hyperlink. If you click on description, you can know all the information of the item.
