INTRODUCTION
In an industrial training is
one of the most important component for students to be awarded the certificate
diploma. In five months, who wants to be getting the certificate diploma,
student must go to the industrial training for a few months. The important of
the condition in polytechnic is, all of the students must pass their industrial
training before they are allowed to begin the next semester. Those who fail
will have to repeat.
In semester four , during on
industrial training the student must to complete their final report for this
industrial training before come back to polytechnic. While the student start
going working on the industrial training, every student has given the task just
like assignment compulsory to be done namely daily report book. All of student
have a daily report book. This book is very important for student because this
book just like a simple note to remember what the student doing on their work
in daily. If student not writing in daily, after finish on industrial training,
maybe the student get lack of control to remember back what their doing on
working when the student try to start writing full final report for industrial
training. The most important key, daily report must writing every day start
from first training until the end of their industrial training.
For the last, after
registration in semester five, student must do the final report that has
included about all of benefit they got from industrial training. After the
final report submitted the student have to make a presentation about
their report.
Those who fail to do all of
that will have to repeat the semester.
OBJECTIVE OF INDUSTRIAL TRAINING
The industry is required to report to the student so that the student can explain the practical training while in firms in writing. Work work done reams described to form more easily understood and can document the activities conducted during the exercise. Among the objectives of this report is to meet the standards set by the Polytechnic Balik Pulau and is an important element of its multiple purposes. Among them are as follows: -
It can document the activities carried out during training this industry.
Students are trained to comply with the directions, the needs and requirements set by the organization and the Polytechnic.
Can prove that a student has to undergo industrial training.
To tell all what they have learned during their industrial training (work experience)
The results of the full report can be used as a source of reference after graduation.
In addition, a daily report is an important document as the report that good quality can be used as supporting documents during job interviews when students start working life real soon.
THE INDUSTRIAL TRAINING OBJECTIVE
The training is the goal of polytechnics to produce students who are
successful, effort and responsibility as well as the name of technical studies
such as polytechnics industry in private and government sector employment. To
achieve that goal, the Transportation Unit and the Industrial Training (UPLI)
has outlined a number of industrial training objectives to be achieved in full
by every student who runs the practice. Among the objectives mentioned were as
follows:
- To expose to students about the
true working situation before graduated follow respective specialization
field.
- Inculcate teamwork and good
working relationship with fellow workers.
- Can provide a valuable
worthwhile experiences.
- Adding self-confidence.
- To instil honesty and
responsibility.
- Give encourage when faced with
any conflict faced.
- May issue of confidence from
time to time.
- Which allows students to link
theory with practical aspects have been studied or otherwise.
- Cultivate the patience and perseverance
of the student.
- Exposing students to the real working world.
IMPORTANCE OF INDUSTRIAL TRAINING
The training is an
opportunity for polytechnic students to equip themselves before the real
working environment and the future and the challenges that will follow. In
addition, students also have the opportunity to gain experience that cannot be
in college.
Exercise is very
important to the industry because the industry training Polytechnic students
can provide a great opportunity for students to know better and to expose
themselves in a real working environment. Students can also explore the field
of endeavor with the new sciences, art. In addition, students will also be a
useful experience to be ready to receive any instructions, advice or criticism
from superiors. Between the interests of industry training to students are: -
- Will be able to work as
teamwork and builts a good relationship.
- Expose trainee to the various
aspects of industrial practices and ethics.
- Students are not only exposed
to the working environment but also can practice all the theoretical and
practical study at polytechnic. While at the polytechnic, students are
exposed to general and practical but with industrial-training students
also can expose students to the real working environment atmosphere.
- Make students not to be afraid
to face any mistakes while doing the work. This is because if students has
made a mistakes, will learn from these mistakes and will not repeat them
in future.
- Mature students who will be
called as an employee. Industrial training as early exposure to the
students to be more mature. It made a profound impact in fostering
teamwork and educate students who will keep track of the working
environment to respect each other especially the more senior employee or
officer of high rank.
During the industrial
training students will also be asked to work. Therefore it is important for
students to be able to adopt a positive attitude in order to be able to hear
the correct direction. Efficiency of a student to receive, interpret and
execute the command will determine the quality of work produced.
In addition, the
importance of this industry training can allow students to practice a sense of
responsibility and respect among employees as well as the attitude of trust in
the conduct of the work done when executing the assigned tasks.
